It is integrated with 4 fast Ethernet LAN ports, which are able to work as a backup for the Ethernet enabled device. Those features make it ideal for home and small office use.

WL557RT4 supports enhanced MIMO technology, which can effectively reduce the "dead spots" in the wireless area, and extend the range of wireless network coverage to 4 times farther than wireless-G devices.

It also supports advanced security features such as WPA2 and AES to keep your wireless connection safe from unauthorized access. It supports WPS technology for easy pairing by pushing the WPS button only. WL557RT4 is also able to serve as a DHCP server, which supports powerful SPI firewall to protect the PCs against intruders and attacks.
