Wacom DTU-1931A

The new 19-inch SXGA (1280 x 1024 pixel resolution) pen display, DTU-1931A, is the largest in Wacom's series of pen displays for non-graphics use (for graphics pen displays, see the Cintiq series). In addition to the large screen space, the DTU-1931A is also compatible with a large majority of Wacom Penabled tablet PCs offered by PC manufacturers.

Wacom's patented pen technology provides a natural tool for freehand writing, annotating and navigating directly with the pen on the screen. The ergonomically designed cordless and battery-free pen provides 512 pressure levels and has a programmable double side-switch. The technology of the DTU-1931A results in a minimised 'jitter' of the pen, making cursor navigation faster and more accurate.

Intuitive to use.
When you're using a DTU-1931 you work with the pen directly on the screen. This empowers you to take advantage of your natural hand-eye coordination to work more quickly and intuitively in any software application. There is little or no learning curve because of this natural "pen-on-paper" work approach.

Pressure sensitivity.
With 512 levels of pressure sensitivity, you can control your software tools by changing how hard you press the pen tip o n the pen display.

With a built-in DVI-I pass-thru connector, which handles both analog and digital video input, the DTU-1931 makes it easy to setup for interactive presentations. Mark up your presentation directly o n-screen while facing your audience. Your work can be seen o n the projected screen behind you. The DTU-1931 also has two built-in USB 2.0 ports. It can support a flash drive, keyboard, or other USB device.

Tactile sensation.
The DTU-1931 implements unique LCD technologies to achieve a natural paper-like experience. The surface is treated to diminish glare and provide a texture simulating the feel of paper. These surfaces are also hardened to provide durability and longevity. The LCD itself has been structured to eliminate any screen distortion when the pen tip is pressed against the surface. The result is an incredibly natural and intuitive experience.

Ergonomic Comfort.
The DTU-1931 stand allows the incline of the display to be easily adjusted between 18 degrees and 73 degrees. This easy adjustability combined with the integrated grip areas, the built-in top-loading pen holder, and a completely flat bezel makes the DTU-1931 extremely comfortable to use.
